Complete the digital assignment in the discussion on canvas for class.  I will base your attendance on your posts and participation.  We will review the assignment on Monday.

Draw the floor plan of the first house you remember living in.  Take a mental tour through this house, pausing (and making on the floor plan) where significant events occurred.  

Walk through again, making a list of these events. Pick one of them and write about it. Pay attention to the setting and the atmosphere of the event.  

• How does your relation to the space, light, weather, walls, furniture, and objects affect what you are doing and feeling? 

• Does the place represent safety of confinement? 

In addition to this floor plan and a list, write at least 250-word piece about the first house. It may become a foundation for a story later in our class. The writing may be longer than 300 words if you are inspired.
