  1. Just from examining the picture of the two little girls reading:
Voice- The little girl on the left stood out to me because she’s reflecting on the other little girl who is deep into her book. It makes you assume that maybe she has a harder time paying attention than the little girl on the left. Or she just looks up to her and wants to focus on reading like the little girl on the right.
Action- The little girl on the left may have ADHD and needs to focus more on reading so she is turning to the other girl for guidance.
Conflict- the conflict here may be that the little girl who is distracted is having a hard time staying focused and wants to be as focused as the girl on the right but can’t. It may cause her confusion/ conflict.
Stock and flat characters- I feel like the little girl on the left would be more of a round character just from the first look. She has deeper feelings/ more personality and cannot sit still and read because her mind may be running a mile a minute. As opposed to the little girl who is focused she may be more of a flat character who is simple with minimum problems/ conflicts.

  2. In The War of The Wall, the narrator Frieda shows desire by her wanting the painter lady to stop painting the wall and she creates a plan to stop it. She shows action by making a plan to stop something from happening that she didn’t like. She is a round character because we learn a lot about her throughout and we see a change in her go from anger to realizing that she was wrong and her enjoying the mural. This also connects to the character quality of thought. We learned about her changes and development through Friedas thoughts and not as much in her dialect.
